Convert your traditional Trangia Sprii camping stove to gas-powered!
LPG burner to replace the traditional alcohol burner.
The LPG burner of the camping stove can be replaced with, for example, a traditional Trangia or a similar alcohol/spirit burner.
Fits perfectly with the X25 Haghus cooker, for example.
The advantage of a LPG burner over a traditional one is efficiency and speed: cooking and boiling times are significantly reduced.
The gas burner works with most camping gas bottles with an international EN417 thread (7/16NS LINDAL Valve).
Gas consumption is approximately 160g/hour at full power. A 230g gas bottle means you can use the stove for approximately 1.3 hours at full power.
In practice, a traditional aluminum camping kettle boils 1 liter of water in about 220 seconds (varies somewhat depending on the gas used and the weather).
Installation:
Remove the old alcohol stove from the frame of the camping stove. Install the gas stove in its place so that the gas hose comes out from under the stove. Some stove models have a hole for this, through which the hose and valve can be threaded out. After this, screw the gas bottle onto the valve and tighten it tightly. Turn on the gas and light the flame, e.g. with matches. NOTE: If your stove frame does not have a hole ready for the valve and hose, this is not mandatory, in which case the hose can also be pulled under the edge. Alternatively, you can also make a hole in the frame yourself, e.g. using a suitable size cup bit and a drill.
