A very handy tool for winter fishing!

The traction cord is attached to the device and at the same time to the cord that controls the switch, and the device is set to travel under the ice in the desired direction. Väinö Torpedo travels at a brisk walking pace and as a result, 60 meters of cord are under the ice per minute. The device's large gear-like traction wheels make a sound when traveling, and the lights at the back are easy to spot on the ice. One jerk starts it, the next one turns it off, the third one turns the lights off - Väinö Torpedo dimensions: 55x13x11cm - Does not include cord or batteries. - Finnish user manual. NOTE: After each use, check: - The tightness of the traction wheel screws. - Empty any water that may have accumulated inside the Torpedo and spray with a dehumidifier. (Building supply stores sell dehumidifiers) Good tip: Speed up the operation by floating two cords at the same time. One string is lifted up from the auger hole when the Torpedo has advanced the desired distance and the other string is used to pull the Torpedo back to the starting hole. Battery installation: The batteries are installed with the + side facing the removable back cover. (If the batteries are installed the wrong way around, the light will not light up and the spiked wheels will rotate in the wrong direction.)
