The Väinö made morri is a really effective lure for fishing for mate.
Mori uses a piece of fish, a fish tail or a whole fish as bait.
A good bait fish is a shell, but others also work very well as bait. The bait is placed on the hook of the morri. If you want to make sure that the bait stays on the hook, you can secure it with a small rubber band. The ice fishing itself is done by bouncing the morri against the bottom.
First make an announcement, i.e. a couple of higher drops so that the target fish knows the bait is there. After this, continue ice fishing with 2-7cm drops, but remember to make higher bounces from time to time.
It is important that the lure hits the bottom, the sound of which attracts the fish to the spot.
Choose the smaller 35g model for depths below 6m and the heavier 75g model for deeper and flowing waters.
