The 210cm / 5-21g rod was designed by sports angler Saku Mattila, who is also known for Mattila's Pätäkkä rods and lures. The starting point for the rod design was to make an ideal rod for jig fishing for both pike-perch and perch. The Revolver rod blank is made of 30ton carbon fiber. The material makes the rod light, sensitive and durable. The rod has a low pistol-shaped reel seat with openings on the top and bottom. The angler's finger touches the rod blank during fishing, which allows information about what is happening underwater to be transmitted to the angler's hand very sensitively. The rod has high-quality aluminum oxide rod guides with a ceramic core. The rod handle is two-piece and the rod has a sturdy lure loop.
