Väinö Ice Box Ice Fishing Hut

Traditional ice fishing hut with a carrying strap

The Väinö Ice Box is a traditional ice fishing stool made of polyurethane. It is more commonly known as an “ice fishing box.” The concept behind the box is very simple: it’s a box of the right size with a lid that you can sit on, and you can store your gear and catch inside. The box comes with a carrying strap.

Versatile applications

In addition to ice fishing trips, you can use Väinö’s ice fishing box to store fishing gear, carry other items, and even as a cooler in the summer or winter. The box is a convenient way to keep your catch or snacks cool for longer periods of time.

Removable partition

Inside the drawer is a removable divider, and the drawer has several different spots where the divider can be attached. This allows you to organize the drawer to fit your specific needs.

Durable and lightweight material

The ice fishing hut is made of durable yet very lightweight polyurethane, commonly known as Styrofoam. The Ice Box ice fishing hut can support up to 350 kg. This means the chair can easily support even the heaviest ice fisherman. Thanks to the material, it’s also possible to modify the chair to accommodate accessories or even a sonar unit.
