With this Royal Salmon rod, you fight both small and big salmon. The handles are cork, and in this new edition, the reel seat is Fuji-style with a trigger, since spinning reels are usually used in salmon rowing. The high-quality aluminum oxide rod guides are UBG type, equipped with ceramic inserts. The action is medium-heavy and lure weight is 50 - 90 g, but with this rod you row lures, spoons, and flies. In our opinion, traditional lure weights don't apply the same way in salmon rowing as in casting, because you're fishing salmon in flowing water that adds its own resistance to the lure.
