The release function allows the line to come free from the boom, which makes it easier to accurately lower the lure to the desired depth. The reel's effective star wheel brake ensures that the catch does not get caught on the reel.
Smooth winding and suitable gearing
This ice fishing reel has 3+1 ball bearings, which ensure smooth and even reeling. The gear ratio of 2.5:1 provides suitable drag power for deep-sea fishing, and the line volume (0.15 mm/100 m) is plenty for active ice fishing.
