High-backed, almost coin-shaped Natikka -lure is super versatile and easy to use, especially for perch and pike fishing, though it'll do as pike bait for all predator fish. The swimming action is a dense vibration and rattle from the rattling balls. You feel the strong swimming motion right up to the rod tip, and often perch nibbles are noticed as a break in the action even if the fish doesn't hook itself. That's why Natikka works great as an 'indicator lure' that shows perch are around, which you'd miss with other lures.

In casting:

The non-floating, fairly fast-sinking lure lets you quickly cover the fishing area (like the edge of a reed bed). Once you've located the perch, stop the boat and focus on fishing the school. You can use Natikka's sinking body to fish different water layers. If you start reeling as soon as it hits the surface, you can fish near the top. On the other hand, after the cast, you can let it sink to, say, 2 meters and target deeper lurking fish.

In trolling:

In trolling, Natikka's catch range expands from perch and pike to also game fish. In motor trolling, Natikka's spot is next to or below the prop wash. The tight vibrating action stands out from the water turbulence and gets even salmonids interested in the lure.
