Versatile, extremely sharp knife for slicing, filleting or carving
Walz & Schöder's comfortable synthetic grip filleting and slicing knife with a 20cm long flexible blade. The W+S knife is a very good tool for removing membranes and fat from meat and filleting fish. With a filleting knife, you usually cut parallel to the cutting board, while with a chef's knife you usually cut against the board. The flexible blade is of German origin, made of stainless steel 1.4116. The hardness and toughness of the blade (56 HRC) keep the blade sharp for a long time, reduce the need for sharpening and above all it means a long service life. The design of the blade and handle significantly reduces the risk of injury during use. The handle is comfortable in the hand due to its soft feel and material. Can be cleaned at temperatures up to 120°C/250F. The knives are said to be dishwasher safe. However, we recommend hand washing and drying them to prevent wear on the blade and handle and to maintain the sharpness of the blade. All W+S knives are sharpened and finished to an extremely sharp edge. The blade edges have no ridges that increase cutting friction. The knife is packaged in a safe blister pack.
