Saku Laaksonen comments on the rod like this: I jumped into this design project because there wasn't a suitable rod model on the market. I like that one rod can handle everything. You can cast light to heavy lures all the way. Since casting distances are short, the rod works well across a wide range of lures. The rod is compact and lightweight, can be used with one hand. The rod also needs to be durable. For me, the starting point is that the rod is a tool. The guides have to be tough so if someone steps on them in the boat, they don't break right away. Plus, it's important that the rear handle is long enough to get support from your armpit when fighting fish. You can cast lures up to 450g with it, but the heaviest ones aren't easy with one hand anymore. The rod has the power to fight no matter the fish size. I use this rod for zander and pike.
