With the downrigger, you get your lures to exactly the depth you want. Includes the downrigger, quick-release mount, rod holder, cable, release clip, and instruction manual. The downrigger ball (not included) is lowered by pulling the lever on the side. When the lever releases, the downrigger's brake automatically engages and the ball stops. The EC-100 downrigger has a three-digit foot counter that shows the depth accurately. The downrigger rod is placed in the boom's holder, whose angle you can adjust. If the depth changes quickly, the lift happens fast and easy thanks to the hand crank. With the deep downrigger, you catch those big zanders hiding in the depths.

Accessories for versatile installation

The downrigger's quick-release mount is usually installed directly on the boat, but often a swivel base is added in between to make it easier to use. You can buy the swivel base separately. Also available separately is the downrigger mounting plate for angles.
