The firewood processor consists of four parts: the feeding head, the cutting section, the splitter, and the outfeed conveyor.

Feeding Head:

The feeding head is equipped with a powerful conveyor that allows you to feed logs to the cutting section easily and quickly. You simply lift the log onto the conveyor on top of the feeding head, and then use the hydraulic motor to drive the log towards the cutting blade. The conveyor belt is made of strong urethane with a roughened surface. This ensures that the wood moves securely back and forth.

Cutting Section:

In the middle of the machine is the cutting section where the cutting blade, clamping press, and blade lubrication system are located. The cutting section also has an adjustable stop that determines the length of the cut log. The cutting blade and bar are lubricated from the chainsaw oil reservoir located on the other side of the machine. The amount of chainsaw oil can be adjusted. Once the wood has been moved against the stop by the feeding head conveyor, it is firmly pressed against the machine's frame by the clamping press. Finally, the wood is cut by the cutting blade, after which the cut log drops onto the splitter. The maximum wood thickness is 35 cm.

Splitter:

When the cut log drops as a round piece onto the splitter, the splitting function starts immediately. A powerful 12-ton splitting cylinder pushes the log into a four-bladed splitting wedge, which splits it. The height of the splitting wedge can be adjusted with a lever on the side of the machine. If, for some reason, the wood drops crosswise onto the splitter, the operation can be safely interrupted, after which the protective cover is opened and the wood is placed on the blade by hand. After this, the cover is closed, and the splitting function is started manually. The splitting function will not start if the protective cover is open. Additionally, a six-bladed splitting wedge is available as an accessory for the machine.

Outfeed Conveyor:

Finally, the split firewood moves onto a conveyor that lifts the logs high, dropping them into, for example, a sack or a pile. The height and inclination of the conveyor can be adjusted with a hand winch. The conveyor belt is urethane-based with separate cleats that securely grip the firewood being moved. When the conveyor is not in use and the machine is stored, the conveyor can be folded in half, significantly reducing the storage space required.
